How does PLNU classify applicants?

  • First-time freshman - Students who will be applying within one year of graduating from high school. No matter how many college units completed. 
  • Transfer students - Students who graduated from high school more than a year ago and have at least one college unit completed.
  • International students - Students without permanent residency or citizenship in the United States.
