There are 2,500 students at PLNU. Here are just a few of them, blogging about the PLNU experience so you can get a glimpse of the college life.

Freshman

Why should I read your blog?

So you can feed your curiosity on how an incoming college freshman transitions 2000 miles, absorbs culture shock, and balances academics with life on the beach. How is that going to happen? I have absolutely no clue.

Transfer Student

Why should I read your blog?

Why shouldn’t you? No really. But seriously… I take a lot of pictures and put up cool music, good literature and what not. I can’t guarantee I’ll post every day, but when I’m not doing anything productive (which is quite frequently) you better bet I’m on my blog. Expect a lot of food and concert posts in-between PLNU stuff so if you’re into that, check it out! PS, if you’re a literary magazine or speech and debate nut like me, this is the place to be. Hey, that rhymed… kind of.

Sophomore

Why I should read your blog?
My blog will show what its really like to live on campus, and from an out of state perspective which was so helpful to me as I was looking at schools. I'll be posting about what classes are like, weekend activities, and all the fun my friends and I get into! Plus, coming from a Minnesota girl who can't even waterski, it'll be amusing for you to watch my first attempt at surfing or I'll post videos of my Midwest accent. Which, according to everyone here, is the funniest thing ever.

Why should I read your blog?
For the exact same reason why you asked your friend to Taser you. He said “It’s fun!” and you were just curious enough to believe him. So read my Blog. It's Fun!

Why should I read your blog?
You should read my blog because a lot goes on here at Point Loma and I will try my best to give you a good snapshot of all my experiences.

Why should I read your blog?
My blog is thoughtful.  The things I post are honest and real to what I am experiencing here at Point Loma, and are worth the time to read.  I'll inform, entertain, and make you ponder within the beautiful college setting God has blessed us with.

Good question.
