Who is your favorite professor and why?
My favorite professor at PLNU so far has been Becky Modesto. She taught my Race and Ethnicity class that I took in City heights, with her husband Kevin Modesto who is also a professor at PLNU. She is an amazing role model as a woman of Christ and as a mother, wife and professional. She really inspired me with new thinking during her class and personally poured insight into my life that I still carry with me today.
Where is your favorite off-campus place to eat?
I love grabbing yummy fish tacos from Robertos, Thai food, or Ethiopian food from Red Sea in City heights and bringing it to the harbor to watch the sailboats. Yummy food, friends and the beautiful sea; that's a perfect evening.
Why should I read your blog?
With something as unique and completely different as nursing school, as compared to other college students experience, I hope that my blog can give some small insight about your studies whether its for nursing or Point Loma in general.
