The Appian Way from the ports of Brindisium and Tarentum to Rome.
This was the path of Scholars, Missionaries, and Government Officials
traveling between Greece and Rome.  The rocky floor of the plaza
of Colt Hall is designed to recall this Roman road.

Each year the department awards a few
Clara Colt Research Scholar Awards
for the best presentations of research
in our annual student research conference.

Paper presentations should be only 15 minutes --or 10 double spaced pages.
Powerpoint maps and images are encouraged!
If your papers are longer, just give us the best part. Do your best!

Starts at 4:30pm.

Those who give papers and attend the conference are invited to a reception afterwards at my house
where we will honor also recent book publications by Dr. Beail and Dr. Cordilione.

SEND PAPER TITLES TO ME BY FRIDAY APRIL 4!

Come talk to me or your other professors if you have questions.
