Palomar Griffin Swing Grossmont College

On Friday part of the PLNU Speech and Debate team competed in the Palomar College Speech Tournament, held at Grossmont College. This event did not offer any debate. PLNU won Third Place school sweepstakes in the University division behind only Arizona State University and Cal State University of Long Beach. The following specific honors were won, including a Third Place Overall Tournament Speaker for Griffith Vertican.

Justin Thompson: 5th Place After Dinner Speaking

Griffith Vertican: 1st Place Open Extemporaneous, 3rd Place Open Persuasion, 5th Place Rhetorical Criticism
