Overview

PLNU offers a theatre major and minor in its Department of Communication and Theatre. After learning general communication styles, students take courses in theatre, voice and diction, and acting. The upper division requirements include learning about the history of the theatre, stagecraft, lighting and makeup techniques, movement, and directing. In addition, it is recommended that majors take literature courses dealing with great dramas. A theatre practicum and internship are also required.
