The Executive Development Events are held once per semester exclusively for our MBAs and faculty, and provide a unique opportunity for our MBAs to enhance their personal and professional development. At these events, our MBAs and an invited guest enjoy an elegant dinner at one of our partnering venue properties. The EDEs are a “signature event” of the PLNU MBA experience, so make sure to attend!

Spring 2012

Guest Speaker: Dave Latter, President of Morehouse Foods, Inc.
Location: The University Club Atop the Symphony Towers

Dave Latter is a native Californian.  Born in Oakland he attended public schools through high school and graduated in 1946.   Rather than attend one of the large universities in the area he elected to attend Pasadena College (now PLNU) and graduated in 1950 with a degree in Business and Psychology.

After graduation, Dave entered the family business as a third generation partner.  In 1969 the partnership incorporated as Morehouse Foods, Inc. and Dave was named president.  He has guided the company to its current position as a multi-million dollar international business whose primary products are mustard and horseradish. The products are produced in City of Industry, CA and Montreal, QC.

Throughout his long career he held leadership roles in many organizations in industry, public service and church.  His enthusiasm for helping others has been a hallmark of his career.

Dave and his wife, Dot, reside in Yorba Linda.  Their two children and grandchildren are graduates of PLNU.  In May 2011, the university awarded Dave an honorary Doctor of Laws degree for his years of alumni participation and support.
