Background

In April 2011, Emily E. Gallentine assumed the role of the Manager of the Fermanian Business & Economic Institute. Gallentine brings an extensive skill set and strong background in the event and hospitality industry to the FBEI. As well as working in the corporate & event industry for the past seven years, she also provides experience in public relations, incentive travel, destination management, and event production. Prior to joining the FBEI team, she planned large corporate events for high profile clients and Fortune 500 companies and had also planned events for non-profit organizations and associations. Some of her past clients include: AirTran Airways, Children’s Miracle Network, Oracle Corporation, Raytheon, Symantec, Sprint, The Home Depot, Xerox, Yelp, Inc.

Gallentine holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida. There she also received a specialization in Hospitality & Event Management.

Gallentine moved to Southern California a year and a half ago from Atlanta, GA. She holds strong to her southern roots but is looking forward to exploring and traveling as much as possible in California and the Pacific Northwest. With her free time she enjoys serving and encouraging others in their faith and traveling to other countries. She currently volunteers at the Flood Church and is a Contributor of Darling Magazine.
