Resume Action Verbs - Summary of key action verbs that can be used in your resume.
The cover letter puts a real person behind the resume. It should answer the question - Why should I hire you? It should grab employees attention and point out why you, above all other applicants, should be contacted for a personal interview.
Format: first paragraph – grab reader’s attention with why you are interested and why you applied, second paragraph – point out achievements and qualifications, third paragraph – pave the way for an interview, restate interest.
