The Department of History and Political Science is dedicated to providing our students with a substantive educational experience at PLNU.  We believe that getting our students off campus and into the real world of public affairs is one of the best ways to achieve this goal.  Students intern in San Diego, Sacramento, Washington, D.C., or abroad. Some of our students complete multiple internships.  Of those interning in San Diego, our students have recently interned with:

“My internships equipped me with real world job experience that I could not have learned in the classroom. Without completing an internship, I do not feel that I would have been prepared to graduate and pursue my desired career path.” - Kim Jensen ('11)
