Call for Papers
The Society for the Study of Psychology and Wesleyan Theology (SSPWT) is pleased to announce Mark Lau Branson, the Homer L. Goddard Associate Professor of the Ministry of the Laity from Fuller Theological Seminary’s School of Theology as our Keynote for this years conference. It is with this announcement that we are excited to issue a Call for Papers for the 2014 annual conference. SSPWT encourages submission of papers or poster presentations that specifically address Ecclesiology, the Mission of the Church, and Psychology insofar as such themes are engaged with Wesleyan thought.
The society council would like to encourage increased participation from undergraduate and graduate students. Therefore, SSPWT is pleased to open a section of paper presentations to all students. We invite those who are interested to present a proposal along with school affiliation and a brief bio.
Please submit proposals as abstracts of 500 words or less, the title, along with name, position, and institutional and/or professional affiliation, and professional vita (first‐time presenters) by October 2, 2013 to Brandon Arbuckle at: firstname.lastname@example.org
The proposal should be sent as an e‐mail attachment in Microsoft Word format. Each proposal will undergo a review process. Please note that the program chair may request to place your proposal, if accepted, in the poster format if it is better suited for this medium.
