As an Instructional Services Librarian at PLNU, Denise Nelson serves as the the primary collection development and research instruction liaison to the following departments:

Denise is actively involved with the Association of Christian Librarians, currently serving as a director-at-large on the Association's board of directors.
Research
In association with the dissertation phase of her progress toward a Ph.D. in Higher Education, Denise is currently engaged in research on the role of thriving in students' satisfaction with their college experiences.
