• Broadcast Journalism
  Sponsored jointly by the Department and Communication and Theatre and LJML, the broadcast journalism major equips you with knowledge and experience for careers in broadcast, print, and online media.
• Journalism
  Learn the ins and outs of effective research, reporting practices, critical thinking skills, and clear and effective writing. 
  LJML also offers an extremely marketable major-minor combination of journalism and Spanish for those who desire to work in American border cities or Latin American countries. For this track, you will complete an internship at a bilingual newspaper, magazine, radio, or television station.
• Literature
  Immerse yourself in the world of rhetoric, literature, and writing. Cultivate your knowledge of major literary-theoretical perspectives and terminology as well as develop keen skills in higher and lower order thinking and writing.
• Romance Languages
  Develop deep knowledge and use of either Spanish or French through writing, speaking, and interpreting cultural texts. Nurture cultural interconnections through engagement with local, national, or international communities. 
• Spanish
  Develop deep knowledge and use of the Spanish language through writing, speaking, and interpreting cultural texts. Nurture cultural interconnections through engagement with local, national, or international communities. 
• Writing
  Hone your skills in creative and advanced writing in various forms and genres. Grow your knowledge of major literary-theoretical perspectives and terminology as well as develop connections between literature, language, and the contemporary world. Engage your writing and editorial processes thought campus publications and external internships.
