Evening MBA Program

The Evening MBA Program is designed with the working professional in mind. Classes are held in the evening at our centrally located Mission Valley Regional Center. The flexibility of the program allows students to attend part-time (3 units per semester) or full-time (6 units per semester). Based on full-time attendance, the program can be completed in 6 or 7 semesters:

  • To finish in 6 semesters; take 3 courses (9 units)  in 2 of the 6 semesters
  • To finish in 7 semesters; take 2 courses (6 units) per semester

There are three semesters per academic year: Fall, Spring, Summer.

Units

·         Accounting/Finance Pre-Requisite Required Prior to Start of Program

·         42 Units to Finish

·         12 Required Daytime Courses (36 Units)

·         1 Elective or Field Experience (3 Units)

·         1 Seminar Capstone: BUS 698 Leading with Integrity (3 Units)

 

Prerequisites

For students who have not taken undergraduate accounting and finance, Finance and Financial Accounting on-line Academic Leveling Courses must be completed in the summer prior to first semester.

* Students register for an elective or field experience in the semester opposite when BUS 698 is completed.

PLNU evening MBA electives located at Mission Valley and/or Liberty Station Conference Center during the Fall or Spring semester.  

Note:  Students can carry no more than 12 units during the Summer semester in order to walk at Commencement in May.
