Our mission: To provide the world business leaders with Christ-like character.

Graduates of the Fermanian School of Business have been successful in business and in pursuing graduate degrees at institutions such as the University of Southern California, UCLA, and San Diego State University.  Accounting graduates have been successful passing the CPA examination at well above the national average. 

In addition, highly respected firms in San Diego and throughout the world (such as Teledyne Ryan, IBM, Sheraton Hotels, Science Applications International, McDonnell-Douglas, Bank of America, Ernst and Young, Deloitte & Touche LLP, Internal Revenue Service) actively recruit and hire graduates of the Fermanian School of Business.  Many alums have been successful in starting their own businesses.

Students interested in pursuing a professional license or credential after graduation should consult the resources listed below regarding license requirements. Successful completions of FSB programs by themselves do not necessarily fulfill state requirements for licensure:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License

Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

Undergraduate Business Majors

The Fermanian School of Business offers majors in the following areas of study: Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Information SystemsInternational Development, Management, and Marketing while our high-quality internships provide students with direct experience in a professional environment of their chosen field.  

Undergraduate Business Minors

The following minors are offered by the Fermanian School of Business: Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, International Development, Marketingand Nonprofit Organization.  There is a variety of interdepartmental minors offered as well. Computer Technology-Business  and Computer Technology-Marketing are for students who desire to enter into the business world with a greater knowledge of information and computer technology. Public Relations combines business with communication and journalism. Science-Business and Science-Marketing are geared towards students pursuing business careers in innovative science-related industries. Sustainability Studies combines business with sociology, biology, theology, and political science.
