Angela Skowronek

Major: Spanish and Business with a concentration in International Studies

Age: 19

City, Country and School: I am studying at the University of Valencia in Valencia, Spain. ISA

Why did you choose this location? I chose Valencia because it's a big city with a smaller-town feel, and also because it's not as frequented by American study abroad students, so I can get an experience that is true to the culture.

Career Goal: Possibly teaching abroad or international relations for a multinational company... I'm not sure yet, but figuring it out is the fun part.

What are you most excited to do abroad? Seize the day (carpe diem, aprovecha el dia). I apologize for the cliché, but I'm just excited to do things I've never done, see things I've never seen and do everything I can not to waste a single moment abroad.

What is your favorite item from home that you're bringing? A really cool leather-bound journal that was given to me. I want to sit in a little coffee shop or on the beach and write about my travels and document the rhythm of things going on around me.
