Spiritual Development
At PLNU, we want to engage you in more than books and lectures. Your education here involves getting outside the classroom and into the streets and pathways of the world. Our dream for you as you come to Point Loma is that you will join with us in the lifetime journey of learning, growing, and serving.
In the Office of Spiritual Development, it is our mission to encourage the campus of PLNU in our teaching, shaping, sending mission by creating and implementing programs that facilitate worship, discipleship, and ministry. In the “upreach” of worship, we gather to offer corporate praise and personal surrender to God. In the “inreach” of discipleship, we focus on learning and growing in Christ. In the “outreach” of ministry, we go out to the world with our hands and hearts extended in love!
In the next few pages, you will meet some of the people who are dedicated to teaching, shaping, and sending, and you will see some of the ways we have planned to do that.
We are happy you are here, and we are ready to help you make the most of your educational experience at PLNU.
