The wall doesn't just affect human lives, it also impacts a viable and diverse ecosystem. We bring people together to raise awareness and to promote creation care on both sides of the border.

Every semester, campus organizations (see below) unite to offer an event focused on issues surrounding environmental justice in the border region.

We believe this is important because we value:

  • giving back to our community
  • enjoying beautiful parts of San Diego
  • learning about the habitat we're a part of
  • promoting environmental justice
  • practicing stewardship
  • hanging out with some really cool people!

We spent a Saturday in Border Field State Park, helping CA State Parks officials, WiLDCOAST, & Surfrider clean up the Tijuana River Estuary
