Welcome / Bienvenidos

In fall 2010, a group of friends invested in Nazarene educational institutions on both sides of the U.S.-México border recognized a need for increased cross-border dialogue and interaction. This realization sparked a vision for a conference that would address relevant issues of immigration, border life, and the Church’s response. Point Loma Nazarene University’s Office of International Ministries and the Tecate Nazarene Seminary of Northwest Baja México are pleased to invite you to the first "Strangers in This World: A Dialogue on Immigration and the Church" Conference in Tecate, México.

Conference History

A few friends in fall 2010 chatted casually about the need for broader conversations around immigration.  It occurred to them that getting people together from both México and the U.S. wouldn’t be that hard.  And with that, the “Strangers in This World” Conference was born.
