Alumni In Business
The Alumni in Business (AIB), an auxiliary of the PLNU Alumni Association, was created to facilitate business connections among alumni, as well as to foster and grow connections between alumni and students. We are also here to support the University through scholarhips and meaningful connections with University students, faculty and staff.
Since the Spring of 2010, your AIB Board has been on a mission. Spread across the United States and the world are PLNU graduates who are pioneering change in the business world - and we want to know who you are and what you are doing. We want to help you make connections that will grow your exposure, advance your goals and increase your connections.
Whether you are an entrepreneur, climbing the corporate ladder, working inside a goverment agency or in the midst of a career change, the AIB seeks to be THE resource for you at PLNU. You don't have to have a business degree from PLNU to be interested in the work of the AIB. Communications, Science, Art - you name the department at PLNU and we can name a PLNU grad who is out there doing something spectacular.
So what does that mean to YOU? We believe it's about CONNECTIONS. Connections to each other so that we can find the consultant we need, tap into the resource our company needs to meet its goals or troubleshoot a challenge we are facing.
Being a PLNU Alum is a great calling card. We all know that now. We should be here to help each other and the university. And we are. It's your new AIB and we need YOU to make it work.
Here's what the AIB is doing right now:
- Partnering with the Fermanian School of Business (FSB) and the Fermanian Business and Economic Institute (FBEI) to develop an actionable plan to build a diverse, compelling PLNU Alumni in Business that helps YOU make the connections you need to succeed.
- Planning events for meaningful networking that you won't find at any other networking event.
- Partnering with the FBEI for regular events to support your business growth.
- Supporting our future business partners (current PLNU students) through an AIB Endowed Scholarship Fund. Give to the AIB Scholarship Fund today!
Here's what we think YOU should do:
We want the best of PLNU in our network. You are an important part of this plan. Your membership goes primarily to support the AIB Endowed Scholarship Fund, and by becoming a member of AIB you gain access to everything that is going on in our organization.
It's about CONNECTIONS. Make an important one for yourself today.
