If you had one chance to make your life count, what would you do with it?
In a world where industries are constantly changing and where technology continues to push the envelope for employment, the question of calling and vocation quickly gets buried under the pressures of academics, post-graduate plans and simply paying the bills. But what if what you do aligned with who you were made to be.
Here at Point Loma Nazarene University, we want to develop the future leaders of the world. Rather than taking a traditional approach of simply “throwing the dart” at a list of potential careers, what if you discovered who God made you to be in order to find a career journey that fits best to how you’re uniquely wired.
Using a Strengths-Based Leadership approach, your personalized career coach in the Offices of Strengths and Vocation integrates best practice for networking, resume writing and finding purpose in work. Our career coaches will come alongside you to discover, design, and deploy all of who God has made you to be. We are good company for the journey.
So are you ready to make your one life count? Let’s dive in!
What’s a career coach?
What is a coach? A coach is someone who helps you accomplish the goals you set out to achieve. A career coach helps you reach your maximum potential as you discover the intersection of calling and career.
But here’s the catch: we can’t do the work for you! Coaches are in your corner giving you tips when you need to make an adjustment or cheering you on when you’re feeling a little down and out, but we can’t run the extra mile for you.
