Ryan Anthony, principal trumpet, of the Dallas Symphony with a brass quintet founded in the mid-1980's by RB and Ryan Anthony and three of their high school friends. This group, "Brasszania", became Disneyland's resident quintet and continues to perform nationally. Outside of the magic kingdom they have been known as "Pacific Coast Horns". Lincoln Portrait: An orchestral work by Copland with the writings of Abraham Lincoln

When Aaron Copland was commissioned to compose a work about a great American, Lincoln was an obvious choice. This work, premiered in 1942. captures the way that America feels about this president.
