Dave Adey, associate professor in the Department of Art and Design, is always turning out art that is thought-provoking. With installations like "Flock," a uniform formation of ceramic lamb figurines sporting glowing pink neon halos, along with a uniquely diverse body of work, Adey has developed a solid presence in the California art scene. In May, Adey was selected to be one of 40 California artists featured in the 2010 California Biennial at the OCMA, where “Flock” is on display through March 13, 2011.

“I think art is better at asking questions than giving answers,” Adey said. “A great work of art can change our point of view and reveal complexity, often leaving a viewer with more questions than answers.” - Dave Adey
