Parent Information - 9/8/11 Power Outage

Parents-

We wanted to provide an update with the power blackout that occurred in San Diego County beginning Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 3:40 pm. Power was restored on campus in the early morning hours on Friday, September 9, 2011. During the blackout, students were safe in the resident halls and Resident Advisors were on hand to provide support to students.

All classes are cancelled at Mission Valley and Point Loma campuses  on Friday, September 9, 2011. Employees at PLNU are on campus and available to students for assistance. The cafeteria continues to provide meals, so there is no interruption in food service for the students.

The regular class schedule will resume on Monday, September 12, 2011.
