Diana Reynolds Cordileone, Ph.D., Emerita

Professor of History

Dr. Cordileone studied in Germany at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg before completing her Ph.D. at the University of California, San Diego. She specializes in European cultural and intellectual history, teaching courses in 19th and 20th century Europe and imperialism. Her research and writing concentration is on fin-de-siecle Vienna and the Austrian administration of Bosnia-Herzegovina before World War I. As a three-time Fulbright Scholar, she also serves as campus Fulbright advisor and is a strong advocate of Study Abroad. Her desire is to create an atmosphere of rigorous intellectual engagement and cultural sensitivity in class.
