Glendale, California

What did you study in college?

B.A. in psychology, M.Ed. in counseling, and an Ed.D. in higher education leadership

What were your favorite involvements in college and why?

The resident assistant (R.A.) program, class council, and club involvement gave me practical leadership experience, put me in a position to serve, and provided me with relationships that would not have been possible without getting outside of my existing group of friends.

What's a word or phrase that describes you?

Verbal

What's your favorite San Diego pastime?

Taking the family (and dog) to the beach.

What advice would you give to an incoming PLNU student?

Get involved on campus. Immerse yourself in the community. You take from this college experience a measure in proportion to what you have put into it.

If you could be any animal, what would you be, and why?

A squirrel. You get to eat enormous quantities of food all fall during football season, lay around all winter, and by summer you are trimmed down and ready to look good on the beach. What a life!
