Bob Kamensky, M.S.

Adjunct Professor, Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership

Robert (Bob) Kamensky joined the College of Extended Learning as an adjunct professor of organizational leadership in 2015, creating and instructing the course on Moral Leadership and the Christian Virtues under the Masters of Arts program.  He came to PLNU with over 35 years of leadership and management experience spanning a career in the US Navy (active duty and reserve), corporate enterprises and Department of the Navy civil service (current employer).  Bob has been in management and leadership roles throughout his career having served onboard US nuclear powered submarines, commanded numerous Navy Reserve units, served as program and project managers for defense and commercial enterprises, and as Director for Process Innovation at Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR).  His most significant professional leadership accomplishment occurred on promotion to the rank of Rear Admiral when he was recalled to full time Navy service to start up and lead a new command, Commander Submarines NATO, for a two year assignment in Europe.  In his current role at SPAWAR, Bob serves as an integrated project team lead, developing and implementing policy and governance related to contracted services acquisition.
