Dawn Silberberg, M.A.

Faculty, MATL and Outreach Coordinator

Dawn Silberberg has been teaching and supporting preliminary teaching credential candidates at the Point Loma Bakersfield Regional Center since 2000. Her work in the California public school system focused on K-2 classroom instruction and most recently, developing and implementing reading intervention strategies to meet the academic needs of English learners as well as students performing below grade-level expectations. Silberberg also worked to develop and implement a School-Family-Community Partnership, with programs designed to increase parent involvement and use community resources to foster student success.
