Nancy Pitts, M.S.

Adjunct Professor, Child Development

 

Nancy Pitts began teaching at PLNU in 2011 for the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences.  She also served as the Graduate Chaplain for the PLNU Mission Valley Campus from 2011–2017.  Nancy’s work background is varied.  She taught Head Start in Appalachia, high school dropouts through Job Corps in Hawaii, counseling to graduate students at Northwest Nazarene University, and Christian Beliefs, Spiritual Formation, and Pastoral Counseling at Africa Nazarene University. Nancy has also been a trainer for Alaska Airlines, a domestic violence educator, and a grief counselor.
