Alumni Auxiliaries

The 13 PLNU Alumni Auxiliaries (interest groups) are each an arm of the Alumni Association. They provide opportunities for alumni with common interests, or working in a specific career area, to connect with each other, network, and share information. They also offer connections with students who have similar interests or would like to learn about your career field.

Each Alumni Auxiliary welcomes alums who want to volunteer and be involved. To volunteer, please visit the specific Alumni Auxiliary in which you’re interested on our website and connect with the person listed as the leader.

Business Alumni

Fellow Alumni,

I am very excited about my new role with the PLNU Business Alumni Auxiliary. I took over for Ben Wagner as president at the beginning of the year.

As you may know, the Business Auxiliary is a group of alumni currently working in business, regardless of the degree received at PLNU. Our mission is to facilitate business connections among alumni, provide opportunities to students through internships and mentoring, and provide student scholarships through our endowed fund.

One of my commitments to each of you is to provide more consistent outreach and be a resource to you. If any of you would like to be connected to another alum, are looking for a job, or need a student intern, please let us know and we are happy to make an introduction.

Thank you again for your ongoing support of PLNU. I look forward to meeting many of you and seeing some familiar faces!

Phi Delta Lambda

Phi Delta Lambda is the baccalaureate scholastic honor society for graduates of colleges and universities of the Church of the Nazarene. The Greek letters Phi, Delta, and Lambda symbolize the love of wisdom (philosophia), the pursuit of righteousness (dikaiosune), and service to God and others (latreia). Our university’s chapter was organized at Pasadena College in 1940.

Seniors in the top 15 percent of the graduating class receive an invitation to join Phi Delta Lambda. We are incredibly proud of our students and their accomplishments, and our desire is to provide help and encouragement that will directly affect the lives of these men and women, our current students, and our graduates who are actively making a Christian difference in the world.

The purpose of Phi Delta Lambda is to:

  • Support these ideals and encourage scholarship and friendship among its members, those of all Phi Delta Lambda chapters, and the students of PLNU
