The Disability Resource Center supports the ongoing development of an accessible university that embraces and celebrates diversity.

PLNU is dedicated to providing students with disabilities access to the programs, services, and activities of the university as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (1990) and Amendment (2008), and by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (1973). Section 504 states: "No otherwise qualified individual shall, solely by his or her disability, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance."

The Disability Resource Center (DRC) is the point of contact for PLNU San Diego undergraduate students, Mission Valley campus students, including students enrolled in PLNU Community College satellite programs. The DRC is committed to provide reasonable accommodations to qualified students with disabilities so that as independently as possible, each student may meet the demands of university life.

The DRC provides academic and non-academic accommodations to students with official diagnoses (i.e., learning, physical, dietary, psychological, etc.).
