To receive any form of PLNU institutional aid, students must file a PLNU Application for Financial Assistance. In addition, certain PLNU institutional aid programs also require that the student file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The priority filing deadline for PLNU institutional aid is March 2, 2008. Awarding is subject to funding limitations and, in some cases, to financial need. Institutional awards may subsequently be adjusted if the basis for making the award has changed or if other kinds of aid are subsequently received. The annual award amount is divided equally between fall and spring semesters. Awards may not be used for course work taken during summer sessions or for study abroad, unless the student's major requires participation in a study abroad program. Students must be continuously enrolled full-time (12 units or more) to receive institutional aid. The sole exception is for graduating seniors enrolled less than full-time in their final semester, in which case institutional aid is prorated.
