Welcome Letter From the President
Dear PLNU Parents, Welcome to the PLNU family! We look forward to the opportunity of meeting you and connecting you with our campus community. I know this is a very exciting time for you and your student, as they transition into the college years. Your role in your student’s life will continue to be important as they develop intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and socially over the next several years.
We would like to help you stay connected with your student’s new home away from home. Through Parent’s Connection events, periodic newsletters, the Parent Connection website and a network of other PLNU parents, we hope to keep you connected to what's going on at PLNU. We also hope to help you learn more about the rich tradition and heritage that makes PLNU the prominent university that it is today. We look forward to having you join us for the PLNU Parent's Weekend, which is held during the fall semester. The weekend is a wonderful opportunity for you to come and experience what PLNU is all about, meet other parents and spend time with your student. During the spring semester, we will be hosting our annual Grandparents Weekend. We hope you will join us for this event and bring the grandparents with you. In addition to these two special weekends, you will have the chance to experience a little more of PLNU during New Student Orientation and Homecoming Weekend. Of course, you are always welcome on campus and we hope to see you throughout the year. As we strive to fulfill our mission to teach, shape and send students out into the world as well-prepared individuals, we anticipate your students growth in becoming the person that God intended.
I know this will be an exciting journey for you and your student, and we are pleased to be part of this journey. Positively, Bob Brower, Ph.D. President
