It’s simple to add Sea Lion Dollars to your Student ID card! Sea Lion Dollars may be used at any on-campus eatery (PLNU Dining Hall, Breakers Market, Bobby B’s Coffee Company & Point Break Cafe). You can reload Sea Lion Dollars on your portal as many times as needed at any time! Sea Lion Dollars do not expire until a PLNU student, faculty or staff member is no longer enrolled at or affiliated with the University. It’s also simple for parents to add Sea Lion Dollars to your account at https://pointloma-sp.blackboard.com/eaccounts/AnonymousHome.aspx
PLNU Dining offers mobile nutrition tools such as MyFitnessPal & the Bite app that help you stay on track with your health. MyFitnessPal provides access to view & track nutritional information on your phone. The Bite menu app allows you to look at menus, nutritional & allergen information in advance. Use PLNU code j7635. Mindful by Sodexo is another awesome healthy offering. The mindful icon is placed by my recipes on our menus to indicate they meet mindful nutrition standards. Gluten Free Dietary Needs
Our Dining Managers and Chefs are certified through the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness GREAT Kitchens Program to accommodate the needs of students whose medical diagnoses require a gluten-free diet. For further assistance, complete the “Accommodations for Disabilities” form by clicking Disabilities_Form.pdf or look on page 18 in the NSO booklet to register with Disability Resource Center (DRC@pointloma.edu). Additional consultation with our Registered Dietitian is highly recommended and available in the Wellness Center. Get Well Meals
Get well meals are available for students with a meal plan. If you’re not feeling well and would like to take food home, talk to a PLNU Dining supervisor & they’ll get you what you need!

Nicholson Commons Dining Room - Located in Nicholson Commons, this all-you-care-to-eat café is proud to offer well-balanced, nutritious meals and snacks that fit your appetite. Are you a grazer or light eater? Enjoy our deluxe salad bar, low-sodium soups, and sandwich station. Are you an athlete or just have a hearty appetite? Then you’ll love our pasta, grill, and international stations.
Point Break Cafe- A great spot for a quick breakfast, hot panini, or artisan sandwich located on the first level of Nicholson Commons. For students looking for extra vitamins or a blast of energy to get them through their next class, Jamba Juice GO is the perfect stop, featuring fruit smoothies made with 100 percent fruit juice and frozen yogurt. Jamba Juice GO is located in the Point Break Cafe.
Bobby B's Coffee Co. - Satisfy your coffee craving with Starbucks coffee, fresh baked pastries, and made fresh daily Simply to Go sandwiches, salads, and other snacks. Bobby B’s is located on the first level of Nicholson Commons.
Breakers Market - In a hurry or just looking for a snack? Stop by the market and find a variety of groceries, beverages, and health and beauty items. The market is located on the first level of Nicholson Commons.
