Background

Why did you choose PLNU?
What a frequently asked, yet still ominous question… Well being a transfer student, I was looking for a change of pace from my last school. I was looking for a bigger campus, school spirit, weekend activities, a good study abroad program, internship opportunities, larger student body, but still small enough that I wouldn’t be a number, physical accessibility, God, a decent cafeteria, closer to home, and kind people (phew!) and that’s what I found at Point Loma. Third school’s the charm right? I think so.

Where is your favorite off-campus place to eat?
I’m still getting my sea legs around here but so far I can tell that Cup of Yo is going to be a regular thing. Frozen yogurt is my favorite food group. Not sure if it’s a permanent flavor, but if you get the chance, try the banana cream pie. Delish! Oh and I have to mention Hodads in Ocean Beach; if you’re a big “foodie” like me and watch Dinners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, this is the place to go. Sorry In-N-Out, Hodads has stolen my heart. Best strawberry milkshake of my life.

Why should I read your blog?
Why shouldn’t you? No really. But seriously… I take a lot of pictures and put up cool music, good literature and what not. I can’t guarantee I’ll post every day, but when I’m not doing anything productive (which is quite frequently) you better bet I’m on my blog. Expect a lot of food and concert posts in-between PLNU stuff so if you’re into that, check it out! PS, if you’re a literary magazine or speech and debate nut like me, this is the place to be. Hey, that rhymed… kind of.
