Meet Cosette
Year: Junior
Major: Math
Hometown: Los Angeles, Calif.

> Cosette is a lab tech in the computer labs, the vice president of Voices in Praise (VIP) Gospel Choir, tutors in the math learning center, plays intramural soccer, and serves with Townspeople, a student ministry for AIDS outreach. Got all that? Clearly, for her, it's all about balance.

If you could join one (more) club on campus that you are not a part of, what would it be?
I would be a part of the Hui O' Hawaii Club. I know some of the people in the club and they’re great! Hawaiian culture is one that I’ve never personally experienced, so I’d love to learn more.

Do you have any go-to places on campus to hang out or study?
McCullough Park (behind the Fermanian Business & Economic Institute) is one of my favorite places on campus. You can face in different direction and have completely different views. Plus, the ocean view is pretty incredible.

What is one thing you wished you knew before coming to college?
My freshman year, I didn’t realize there were so many opportunities in college – both academic and social. I wish I would know how valuable it would be to balance both – college life is all about balance.

What’s it like to live on campus at PLNU?
I live in Flex and I’m so spoiled. My four roommates and I have a kitchen and a living room, not to mention a little bit of an ocean view. I love being in an apartment setting like Flex, I’m developing even deeper relationships than when I was in the dorms.

What’s your favorite concoction in the Caf?
Definitely biscuits and gravy – I’d never had them before coming to PLNU. Who knew I’d discover them in San Diego!
