An Afternoon with Campaign Strategist Tom Shepard

Tuesday, February 12, 2013, 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The University Club

Known as San Diego’s “political kingmaker,” Shepard will discuss his strategy for Bob Filner’s winning campaign for San Diego mayor. Shepard has guided the successful elections of three of the past five mayors, a majority of county supervisors, and Sheriff Bill Gore. He has advised both Democrats and Republicans and he led successful ballot measures for the Padres Stadium, Carlsbad’s Legoland, and the “strong mayor” system for San Diego. He has done the same elsewhere in California, from Riverside and Redlands to Sonoma and Monterey counties.

Other community leaders will be at this small, private event, making it an ideal setting to network.

Tuesday, February 12 from 3:00-4:00pm at the University Club downtown (buses leave at 2:30pm). Business attire. Limited space, so please RSVP to
