Brewed Awakening: Surviving Sex Slavery in San Diego

Commercial sexual exploitation (prostitution, pornography, stripping, etc. against one’s will) is a growing challenge on an international scale, including in our own backyard. As the first Brewed Awakening event of the year, come hear from survivors who lived through sex slavery in San Diego. We will hear from the staff and graduates of the STARS recovery program, one of San Diego's leading programs helping victims of sex trafficking heal and be restored. The Center for Justice and Reconciliation invites you to come to the Fermanian Business Center on Tuesday, September 24 at 7pm (and coffee at 6:30pm) to hear more about this issue from those who have lived through it. As always, the cost is free. Bring your friends!

Students will want to consider joining PLNU's abolition student group, Beauty for Ashes.  For more information email
