Building a Strengths-Based Ministry

Date:
Saturday, April 13, 2013, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Location:
Christ Community Church of the Nazarene, Concord, CA

What Does it Take to Build Strong Personal Ministry Within a Church?

Strengths-Based Ministry is about releasing the potential in each person – helping them do what they naturally do best.  This knowledge of self leads to a greater sense of mission and calling and a deep desire to reach-out to others.

Do you know what you do best?

This training focuses first on building an individual’s knowledge of his/her top five signature strengths (based on Gallup, Inc.'s StrengthsFinder Inventory), in order to equip them for strong personal ministry within their local congregation.  Attendees of this training will be guided to:

  • Foster dynamic and strong ministry partnerships
  • Identify and develop their God-given capacities in order to make a maximum ministry contribution
  • Organize and energize effective ministry teams

 Seminar Trainer:

Dr. Norm Shoemaker, PLNU professor, former Nazarene pastor, and NSI trainer, will be leading this training.
