Grossmont College's Griffin Invitational

Saturday, November 20, 2004 (All day) - Sunday, November 21, 2004 (All day)

For this tournament we had a much larger turnout, including members of the Argumentation and Debate class and the Oral Interpretation class. Point Loma Nazarene University won first place in University Sweepstakes, beating a very strong Arizona State University squad, just one of the 20 or so colleges and universities competing. Our debaters had a terrific outing, and were helped a bit by the individual events speeches. Special thanks to all the alumni that helped to coach and judge for this event.
