Brittany Barnes - Event Planner
Ms. Brittany Barnes has been with SOS Entertainment since 2009 and has served in various areas as an administrative assistant, branch manager and is currently VP of School Events. She graduated from Brigham Young University in Recreation Management and Youth Leadership with an emphasis in Commercial Recreation and has a minor in Business. Ms. Barnes has planned hundreds of events and enjoys working with youth to help them learn and grow in a leadership and event planning capacity.

Shaun Conde Spelman
Mr. Shaun Conde is an alumnus from Point Loma Nazarene University where he earned his Bachelors in Media, Communications, and Performance. During his time at PLNU, he ran his own talk show at the radio station, wrote two student films, and participated in various plays. Mr. Conde received his Masters in Creative Writing with an emphasis in Screenwriting from National University in 2009. His work was premiered at the SD Film Festival in 2007 and he published his first book “Rhyme & Reason.” For two years, Mr. Conde worked as a Teacher and Director at the Christian Youth Theater. He also taught at Del Norte High School as a Theater Tech Teacher and Program Director. In 2012, Mr. Conde worked as a performer and voice over actor for World Entertainment Services and SeaWorld.
Tiffany Hover, Senior Account Manager
Ms. Tiffany Hover received her Bachelors (B.A.) in Media Communications from Point Loma Nazarene University and was involved in the Social Life Committee on campus and KPLR Music. Ms. Hover was the Production Assistant and Clips Coordinator at Viacom Entertainment for three and a half years before landing a position at Google where she has worked for over 11 years as an Associate Account Manager. Recently, Ms. Hover has taken on the position of Senior Account Manager over Media and Entertainment at Google where she specializes in mobile advertising, social marketing, and digital communications.

Laura Kaplan Nieto, Lead Anchor
As Lead Anchor for One America News, Ms. Laura Kaplan Nieto has had the unique opportunity to shape a growing new network. Based in San Diego, she reaches a national audience and delivers live shows each day, covering hard U.S. and international headlines. Her responsibilities as lead anchor include, conducting screen tests for prospective talent, training new hires, creating the anchor schedule, developing new segments, providing performance feedback, and coordinating with other department leads.
Since graduating from UC San Diego, Ms. Nieto has worked professionally as Communications Director for an Inc. 500 green building company, Talent Manager for SeaWorld performers, on-camera business spokesperson, video producer, web content writer, project manager, and even a dolphin show host – all wonderful and challenging jobs which prepared her well for the TV news industry.

Mr. Scott Kudia began his career as an actor performing on television, film, theme park, cruise ship, too many industrial videos to remember and even performing stand-up on the East Coast for a short time. He has over fifteen years of experience managing, directing, producing, casting, and writing show product for Seaworld, Busch Gardens, Universal Studios, and Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede. Most recently, Mr. Kudia worked with Dolly Parton’s Pirates Voyage show in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to completely revamp and improve every aspect of the show.
Mr. Kudia is most proud of his accomplishments teaching and coaching actors onstage and off. He has worked with several performers who have gone on to Broadway careers performing in Wicked, Smokey Joe’s Café, The Lion King, The Book of Mormon, and more.
Chris Patrick, Recruiting Sourcer
Mr. Chris Patrick, an LA local and adventure-lover, earned his B.A. in Business Administration and minored in Organismal Biology at Point Loma Nazarene University where he was involved in the Chemistry Club and the National Science Honors Society. Mr. Patrick also studied Global Business and Economics at the University of Virginia where he studied abroad and traveled around the world in three and a half months stopping in places like Hawaii, Hong Kong, India, Croatia, and Spain. Mr. Patrick has had experience as a Marketing and PR Specialist for DCSS Inc. and Gray Suit Marketing and serving as Technical Recruiter for Aerotek before working as a Recruiting Sourcer at DreamWorks Animation for the past year and half in Los Angeles.
Erika Scopelli, Assistant Editor
Ms. Erika Scopelli is an alumnus of Point Loma Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Film and Media, as well as, studying at Los Angeles Film Studies Center where she graduated in 2011. For two years, she was the Assistant Editor at 25/7 Productions working on the ABC Family’s shows The Vineyard (2013) and Rich at Night (2014) and for one year at NBC Universal before becoming the Assistant Editor at DreamWorks Animation in Los Angeles, California in November of last year. Ms. Scopelli has experience with different aspects of the film and animation industry, mostly specializing with supervising and maintaining productions and working closely with directors and sound designers and mixers to perfect the final film.

Martha Jane Weaver, Professional Singer, Mezzo Soprano
Ms. Martha Jane Weaver, Mezzo Soprano, is an extremely versatile singer, with repertoire ranging from Bach to Verdi to Argento, Broadway and Gospel. She was a frequent guest-artist with Lyric Opera San Diego for over 15 years, playing Katisha in Mikado, Ruth in Pirates of Penzance, Buttercup in HMS Pinafore (a role she also performed for Nevada Opera-Reno), the Princess of Monte Carlo in Grand Duke, the Queen of the Fairies in Iolanthe and the Marquise of Berkenfield in Donizetti's Daughter of the Regiment. Other comedic roles include Mrs. Noye in Benjamin Britten's Noye’s Fludde, Zita in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, Honorine in Harold Rome's Fanny and Hata in Smetana's Bartered Bride. Ms. Weaver's dramatic roles include Giovanna in Verdi's Rigoletto, the High Priestess in Verdi's Aida, Dido in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, the Mother in Hansel and Gretel and Waltraute in Wagner's Die Walküre for Arizona Opera. Ms. Weaver studied at Moravian College where she received her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Music Performance in 1979.
