J Hill Interior Designs
Jessica Tompane, Owner and Lead Designer
Jessica Tompane started J Hill Designs after realizing a large gap existed in the design industry, as the market consisted primarily of only high-end, luxury designers. She came to the conclusion that design doesn’t have to be just high-end; but can also be practical. Ms. Tompane prides herself and the firm in being able to accomplish both practical designs and elite designs, with the goal to always be resourceful, creative and deliberate in how you design a space or a home. J Hill Interior Designs morph each design to the exact needs and desires of their clients. No project is ever the same.
Ms. Tompane received two degrees at the University of Colorado in Business Marketing and Spanish. After working in the advertising corporate world, she realized following her life-long passion for design could be attainable through a leap of faith and hard work. Ms. tompane began pursuing the technical education and experience in design prior to eventually starting JHID.
Through her technical education in interior drafting, interior computer modeling, sustainable design, commercial and residential codes, materials and resources, and design theory, she adds know-how to an innate sense of design. Ms. Tompane can accomplish literally any “style” or “look”, but personally loves the use of color, and believes that J Hill Interior Designs can always find inspiration through nature in any scheme.
Ms. Tompane and her husband currently reside in Point Loma, San Diego, CA. They are very active in their home church, and have a passion for God, life, family, friends and serving others.
