Robin Carrier graduated from the Design Institute of San Diego in 1990, with a BFA in Interior Design. She has a diverse design background that has been developed through working with an architectural firm, model home firm, residential design firms, and a hospitality design firm. She formed Robin Wilson Interior Design in 1995 to be a boutique design studio committed to the highest quality of service. Ms. Carrier is dedicated to design excellence and developing solutions that are unique to each of her clients.

Jennifer Bolinger – Vice President of Human Resources
Jennifer Bolinger is an accomplished HR Executive who has directed all facets of HR functions for a rapidly growing nationwide, multi – location retailer. She specializes in employee relations, employee investigations, performance management, organizational development, policy, procedures and legal compliance.
Michelle Weinstein – President
Formally a financial expert, Weinstein felt lead by her passions for nutrition and fitness to create her vision, Optimal Nutrition Inc. in 2006, which is a custom meal plan service that specializes in preparing and delivering personalized organic meals. After the success of Optimal Nutrition, Weinstein decided to branch out into a retail store and created FITzee Foods. Just like Optimal Nutrition, her goal is to provide superior quality all natural and organic pre-made meal, readily available to the community. Michelle believes in embodying healthy living for the mind, body and soul.

Tamara Romeo – Commercial Interior Designer & Owner
Tamara Romeo is the owner of her own company, San Diego Office Design, where she helps clients to enhance and upgrade spaces that lack brand identity or need enhanced functionality, space planning & color. She strives to create healthier & happier work environments for employees and a deep memorable connection with her customers and clients. She has worked on hotels, spas, gyms, office spaces, medical offices and residential homes. Ms. Romeo utilizes environmental psychology, strong marketing, branding techniques, and innovative interior design techniques to ‘re-vision’ her clients’ office space, whether it’s for 3 or 300 people.

Alethea Arguilez – Director of Child Development
Alethea Arguilez graduated with a Bachelor of Science from San Diego State University. She works as the Director of Child Development with MAAC, whose goal is to promote self-sufficiency for low and moderate income families and communities in Southern California through advocacy for, and delivery of, social, educational housing and employment services. They offer the various communities in San Diego a helping hand by bridging the path to self-sufficiency and by building and enhancing self-esteem.
Briane Smith – Restaurant Manager
Briane Smith graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a B.S. in Business Marketing/Management as well as from the University of San Diego with a Masters of Science in Executive Leadership. She works as the restaurant manager of WP24 by Wolfgang Puck at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Los Angeles. Her experience has shaped her skills in the hotel and restaurant management industry, as well as fueled her to strive to provide exceptional customer service and hospitality.
Allison Rynne – Owner
Allison Rynne created the company Audacity Events in 2008 to specialize in the orchestration of large-scale events including tactical planning, sponsorship coordination, event permitting, and event management. She has worked as the Event Manager and Development Manager of Balboa Park’s December Nights since 2007 and also the San Diego Science Festival.
Laurel Klotz – MFT/Counselor
Laurel graduated from USD with a B.A. in Psychology and from California State University Northridge with a Masters in Counseling. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She ran the Catholic Charities Casa Maria residential program for single pregnant women and single mothers from 1992-2000. Since 2000 she has worked as the counselor for the Grossmont College Office Professional Training (OPT) program, an intense one semester adult work reentry program. The goal of the OPT program is to get adults of all ages into the work force trained for a career with an opportunity for advancement vs. a minimum wage job. A large percentage of the students deal with multiple barriers to success. She works with students with substance abuse histories, mental illness, survivors of physical and/or sexual abuse, and with CalWORKS recipients attempting to get off welfare. She also has a small private practice. Laurel is delighted to have her daughter Jennifer attending PLNU as a freshman.
Prodigy School of Arts
Erin Roberts Hall – Owner/Creative Director
Erin Roberts-Hall grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she discovered her passion for music at a young age, playing instruments since the age of 5. She culminated those studies with a music degree from the University of Minnesota, with concentrations in vocal performance and theory. While attending the University of Minnesota, Ms. Roberts- Hall got her start in business and sales while working as a Marketing Associate for the Department for Theatre and Dance. She moved to San Diego in 2006 and began teaching music in elementary schools, as well as in her own private studio business, Prodigy School of Arts, located in La Jolla. The Prodigy School has now grown into a full service creative learning center offering music and art education to students of all ages. Her most recent endeavor has been business development at Cuyamaca College in their Department of Continuing Education. Ms. Erin-Hall lives in Point Loma with her husband, Ryan, and their three cats, and enjoys surfing, yoga, travel, languages, writing, dancing, and painting in her spare time.
FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising
Kelly Richardson - Freelance Fashion Designer/Event Coordinator FIDM
Kelly Richardson is a Freelance Fashion Designer/Event Coordinator FIDM. She has 20+ years custom garment construction with a wide variety of fabrics; ie wovens, knits, couture, specialty, etc. in a multitude of markets - Children, Women's, Outerwear, and Home Décor, 10+ years in diverse freelance pattern making - first and production for Couture, Outerwear, Children's and Women's specialty wear markets and extensive knowledge of fabric usage and care, with eye for colors, textures, and their abilities to transform a garment.
Kelly also speaks to high school and junior college students, crowds of 1-500, to educate them on different career paths within the fashion industry and necessary coursework to achieve that path.
