Ken Agee, Mortgage Consultant ll / Vice President

Ken Agee graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University class of 1971.  He played baseball, ran track, was a cheerleader, and played the French horn in the concert band.  Mr. Agee taught special education in the Pasadena Unified School District from 1971 to 1980. During that period, he worked with Eunice Kennedy Shriver, as area director, to grow Special Olympics in California. In 1978, he received a presidential commendation for work with Special Olympics. From 1980 to 1983 Mr. Agee worked as an administrator for US Home Corporation in Houston Texas, building and developing a 50+ community. From 1983 to present, Mr. Agee has worked as a real estate mortgage consultant and holds a California real estate broker license. Currently, Mr. Agee is the senior mortgage consultant and vice president for Union Bank.

Nick Bonner, Senior Associate

Nick Bonner specializes in Central San Diego office properties representing both landlords and tenants. He was recruited to CBRE from Coldwell Banker Commercial in 2008 and made the Top 10 Sale Professionals list within 12 months of his transition.

After a decade in the industry, Mr. Bonner has established himself as a market expert in office properties. This comes from his active role in leasing and sales transactions which has been reinforced by his strong background in commercial real estate finance from his years in the Commercial Lending Division of Commercial Capital Bank (now Chase Bank).

Mr. Bonner currently works out of the San Diego Central office and uses his experience in leasing and finance to guide tenants and landlords through occupancy evaluation, strategy development, acquisitions and dispositions, and the negotiation of lease transactions.

Michael Brown, Senior Portfolio Manager

Michael Brown is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Dowling & Yahnke, an independent, fee-only registered investment adviser. Dowling & Yahnke provides comprehensive portfolio management and retirement planning. Located in San Diego, California, the Firm currently manages over $2.5 billion for more than 900 clients, primarily individuals, families, endowments and foundations.

Prior to joining Dowling & Yahnke, Mr. Brown was a Partner at Deloitte, a global accounting, financial advisory, and consulting organization, where he spent fifteen years working with public companies and private equity investor clients.

Mr. Brown holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designations, is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.  He completed his undergraduate work at Oakland University (Michigan), where he majored in Accounting and graduated summa cum laude.

Mr. Brown was born and raised in Michigan and lived in Florida for a number of years.  He currently lives in Carmel Valley with his wife and two daughters.

Deborah Clow , Senior Branch Manager

Deborah Clow was born and raised in San Diego, California, where in 1995 she received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. She began her career as a banking teller in 1988 and soon become branch manager. She graduated from the Credit Union National Association Management School in 2009. Currently, Ms. Clow works as the senior branch manager for both the Sports Arena and Catalina branches, as well as participates in special projects, fraud classes for tellers and financial service representatives, and rewrites policies and procedures when necessary.

Douglas Fremdling is a commercial real estate professional specializing in the acquisition and disposition of multi-Residential properties in the central south corridor of San Diego.   Doug was born and raised in Pasadena, Ca. and graduated from St. Francis Catholic High School and then went on to graduate from the University of San Diego in 1997 with a degree in Philosophy and a minor in Business.  

Mr. Fremdling started in commercial real estate sales upon graduating from USD in ’97 and currently is working with Capital Real Estate Ventures in the downtown San Diego area.  In his 17 year career, Mr. Fremdling has represented clients in transactions ranging from sales, leasing and remodels to assisting with clients property management needs.

Jennifer Glaser, Tax Manager

Jennifer Glaser is a tax manager with Lavine Lofgren, Morris & Engelberg, LLP with over 10 years of experience providing accounting and tax services to the San Diego business community.  She has experience in many areas and industries including real estate, professional services, franchises, non-profit and small business.  Ms. Glaser received her Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of San Diego and is also a member of CalCPA.  

In addition to her professional career, Ms. Glaser is actively involved with the Junior League of San Diego.  Currently, she is serving her second term as CFO, sitting on our executive management committee and overseeing the Finance Council.  Through her eight years of service with JLSD, Ms. Glaser has had the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of areas including new member training, community, fundraising and project management.

James Langley, Partner

James Langley began his real estate career at Grubb & Ellis|BRE Commercial in December of 2004. He joined Schwartz Commercial Realty in February 2008 after working at Studley representing office tenants. Prior to Studley, Mr. Langley worked at Grubb & Ellis|BRE Commercial where he spent three years working on one of the largest retail leasing teams in San Diego County.

At Schwartz Commercial Realty, Mr. Langley has represented numerous tenants including Pony International, Means & Associates, and Shelburne Sherr.  He has a diverse real estate background in land acquisitions and dispositions, office, industrial and retail leasing for landlords and tenants.

Mr. Langley enjoyed a successful collegiate baseball career with Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, and Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA.  He also spent time playing semi-professional baseball for the Duluth Huskies in the Northwoods League, a sanctioned summer baseball league comprised of the top college players from across the country. Mr. Langley volunteers his weekends at the Tecolote Youth Baseball Academy where he coaches 13 and 14 year-old kids.

Mr. Langley graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Hope Mago, Senior Associate-Private Equity

Hope Mago joined Huntington Capital in May 2009. Mr. Mago participates in the origination, analysis of new investment opportunities, investment due diligence, deal underwriting and investment monitoring. 

Prior to joining Huntington Capital, Mr. Mago worked as an Analyst at the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe where he was involved in economic policy formulation, lending due diligence for export ventures receiving funding through the Exchange Control Division. Before that he spent a year interning at First Mutual Limited, the second largest life insurance and money manager in Zimbabwe. 

Mr. Mago earned an MBA from the University of San Diego and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Banking from the University of Zimbabwe.

Mr. Mago is currently a board observer and actively involved in RJE International, Geary LSF, Primetrica, Michael’s Cookies, Residential Design Services, and On Campus Media.

Don Underwood, President

Concordia Homes

Don Underwood is the President of Concordia Homes. He has 25 years experience in residential real estate development; including single family, multi-family and mixed use developments. In his career, Mr. Underwood has been responsible for the construction of thousands of homes, with responsibility for managing the entire development lifecycle; from land acquisition, design and entitlement, through construction, and sales and service of residential projects. He has managed complex entitlement and environmental permitting projects for thousands of residential units and mixed use projects throughout Southern California.  Mr. Underwood holds a BA in Business from Westmont College.
