Andie Adams, Digital Media Producer

Andie Adams graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and French and was involved with the on-campus radio station, TV station, The Point Weekly Newspaper, and Gospel Choir. Ms. Adams has experience as a reporter for KKCO News, as well as, writing online reports and blogs for news networks.  She is the Digital Media Producer at NBC San Diego and is a freelance videographer on the side. Her responsibilities include writing the newscasts for the NBC San Diego News Network and shooting, editing, and writing videos for various clients.  In her free time, Ms. Adams enjoys speaking French, traveling, wakeboarding and reading a good book.

Jill Adams, Director of Integrated Marketing/Menu Strategy Team

Ms. Jill Adams is the Director of Integrated Marketing for the Menu Strategy Team at Jack in the Box.  In her role, she leads the strategic direction of the promotional calendar, including when a product is promoted, why it is promoted, and how it is promoted.  Her team provides insights that guide the product development pipeline.  Prior to her role as the Director of Integrated Marketing, Ms. Adams managed a team of Category Leaders on the Menu Strategy Team and launched several successful Breakfast and Late Night Products.  Her previous positions at Jack in the Box include Regional Marketing and Training.  Before joining the team at Jack in the Box, Ms. Adams worked for Mother Lode Holding Company as a Director of Marketing and Communications.  Her role encompassed all aspects of branding and communications, including Brand Strategy, Design Standards, and PR.  Ms. Adams holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management from the University of Kentucky and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from California State University Sacramento.

Jeanne Cochran, Director of Corporate and Community Education

Jeanne Cochran is presently the Director of Corporate and Community Education at Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU). She received a BA  in Child Development in 1996 and a MA in Education and Guidance Counseling in 2002. After a ten-year career in elementary and high school education as a teacher, dean, college and career counselor, and development director, Ms. Cochran decided it was time to further her experience at the university level. Point Loma Nazarene University afforded her this opportunity first in University Advancement where she was able to improve philanthropic efforts and implemented new fund-raising strategies.  With Ms. Cochran’s strong business development skills and career services background, she subsequently moved to The Offices of Strengths and Vocation and used her experience to create new career programming and concepts that other universities and colleges continue to implement.  She is presently supporting the academic side of PLNU under the department of College of Extended Learning enabling the university to offer current workforce and professional development to corporate and community organizations

John Dorman, Director of Sales and Memory Planning

Mr. John Dorman (PLNU, Communications, '05) is a team-building professional with 10 years experience in a variety of industries. He began his career in banking, transitioned to Apple as a Business Manager & Retail Manager, and this past year jumped into the hotel world -- proving career paths aren't always defined by one's college major. Starting at Wells Fargo, Mr. Dorman gravitated toward business development and sales, leading to a position with Chase Bank that focused on building a client base of small businesses and deepening their banking relationship with Chase.

In 2012, he signed on with Apple as a Business Manager, where he drew on experience with business owners to reshape the business strategy in the Hawaii market. After moving back to the San Diego market as Apple Retail Manager, Mr. Dorman designed a new guest approach which increased customer satisfaction scores by 35% in 8 months. As Director of Sales for The Hotel del Coronado, he implemented a new sales & service strategy that has led to significantly increased year over year net revenues while simultaneously raising customer satisfaction scores to the highest level of any department at the landmark hotel.

Mr. Dorman resides in San Diego with his wife Laura, (PLNU, Psychology, '06), a practicing clinical psychologist, and their 7-year old daughter Annabelle.

Nicole Parke, National Account Manager

After graduating with a Bachelors (B.A.) in communications and public address at Point Loma Nazarene University and media studies at Bond University, Ms. Nicole Parke took on the position of Marketing Consultant and Coordinator for Clear Channel Communications and Lime Energy where she worked for over 4 years. She then became General Manager of The Upland Sports Arena for 6 years, where she successfully found new ways of generating revenue and new programs. As National Account Manager of All Over Media, Ms. Parke’s strong interpersonal skills allow her to achieve goals and motivate employees while maintaining a productive and credible company.

Krystel Tien, Owner

Ms. Krystel Tien was born and raised in sunny San Diego, CA. She received her degree in Communications with a minor in Public Relations at Point Loma Nazarene University.  Ms. Tien spent several years in the fashion and entertainment industry, working with some of the top modeling agencies, fashion designers, and FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) before stepping into the world of events where she freelanced with one of the most prestigious event production companies, Events International Company, in Malibu, CA.

In 2008, Ms. Tien was able to combine her love for fashion and events by founding Couture Events! Coming from the world of fashion where Couture is EVERYTHING - she wanted to combine all of the elements of Couture into her events: quality, handmade, gorgeous, unique, and glamorous.

Her reputation has grown quickly as Ms. Tien is now one of the most sought after wedding coordinators in San Diego. She has been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, Disney’s Fairytale Wedding Blog, San Diego Magazine, Exquisite Weddings Magazine, Style Me Pretty, Wedding Chicks, and Green Wedding Shoes.

After seven years working with couples and styling weddings with Couture Events, she made the step into wedding fashion with her dream San Diego wedding dress shop. In 2015, Ms. Tien opened Elle Bridal Boutique. She has taken everything she knows about weddings and fashion to offer exquisite gowns and unforgettable moments.

Monté Wylie, Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist 

Mr. Monté Wylie is a dedicated Human Resources professional with a passion for acquiring, engaging, and mentoring young professionals as they enter the business world. He completed his undergraduate coursework at the University of Southern California where he graduated with honors in American Military History. After 5 years of business experience, he returned to graduate school and earned a Master of Science degree in Management and Leadership at Pepperdine University. 

As a business leader with Enterprise Holdings, Inc., Mr. Wylie successfully journeyed through the Management Training program and has been a member of the Enterprise team for over seven years. Throughout his tenure with Enterprise, he has successfully managed several locations including the largest Enterprise location in the company. 

Outside of work, Mr. Wylie enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and tearing up the road or trails on his bikes any chance he can get!
