PSCFA Fall Championship Tournament

Friday, December 3, 2004 (All day) - Sunday, December 5, 2004 (All day)

The Point Loma Nazarene University Speech and Debate Team competed successfully in the PSCFA Fall Championship Tournament hosted by Cal State Long Beach this past weekend (December 3-5,2004), coming in Third place overall in the University division. Our debate program, though at half its size from the past two years for this particular tournament, still managed to win First Place in Senior and Novice Divisions of debate and took top speaker in Junior Debate. The particular details and awards won are specified below.

We are especially grateful for the help of our many alumni coaches and judges, and excited about the many potential recruits from high schools and community colleges that have been mentioning their intentions of coming to Pt Loma next year, hoping to try out for the team. We also appreciate the support of the PLNU faculty working with team members in their classes.
