PSCFA Warm Up Scrimmage, Hosted by El Camino

The Pt Loma Speech and Debate team participated in its first tournaments of the year this weekend at El Camino and Claremont. We have a young, hard working group dedicated to upholding past traditions of excellence.
El Camino Results:
In Open Division, Pt Loma had the Number 1 and 4 seeds by the end of competition.
- Ben Kautzer & Joel Day, went undefeated and won awards of Superiority.
- Griffith Vertican & Jordan Cherry lost one round, winning Excellence awards.
- Top Speaker Awards were as follows:
1. Ben Kautzer – Second Place Speaker
2. Joel Day – Sixth Place
3. Griffith Vertican – Seventh Place
- The other two teams each missed awards of Excellence by just one win.
