THE BURDEN is the first documentary of its kind to tell the story of dependence on fossil fuels as the gretest long-term national security threat confronting the U.S., and how the military is leading our transition away from oil. Join PLNU faculty, Congressman Scott Peters, Andrea Marr with Truman National Security Project and Nicole Capretz with the City of San Diego for a private screening followed by a panel discussion.

Hosted by PLNU's Institute for Politics and Public Service and the Truman National Security Project, doors open at 6p.m. with coffee and refreshments. The film will begin at 6:30, followed immediately by the panel discussion, with Q&A participation from the audience.
