Smee Hall- Room 100

The Missional Church in a Mixed Up World!

An increasing number of leaders are engaging in the life-giving practices of the missional church. But what is a missional church? If being missional includes participating in the mission of God in the world, what does this look like in a rapidly changing, diverse, and increasingly post-modern world?

Join Ron Benefiel from PLNU, Kevin Mannoia from Azusa Pacific University, and a team of pastors as we thoughtfully consider the essential nature and mission of the church today.

Core topics of this seminar include:

  • What does a mission-minded church look like in today's culture?
  • What does it take for a local church to be truly missional?
  • How are the vital practices of God's mission implemented and expressed?

  • Ron Benefiel, Dean of the School of Theology, PLNU
  • Kevin Mannoia, Professor of Ministry and Chaplain, Azusa Pacific University
  • Josh Smith, Pastor at Mountainside Communion Church of the Nazarene
  • John Wright, Professor of Theology and Christian Scriptures & Senior Pastor, English-Speaking Congregation, Church of the Nazarene in Mid-City

Along with additional faculty from the School of Theology and Christian Ministry at PLNU!

Seminar Registration:

  • Early Bird Registration (Before October 17th) - $79
