Strengths 101 - Advocate Training
Are you looking for more strengths training? Perhaps you have attended a Strengths Summit and wondered what the next step could be. Consider the Strengths 101 Training offered this spring at PLNU. PLNU's Center for Pastoral Leadership will be conducting a Strengths 101 - Advocate training event April 27-28.
Dr. Norm Shoemaker, director of PLNU's Center for Pastoral Leadership, and Marc Otto, Nazarene Strengths Institute consultant and executive pastor of San Diego First Church of the Nazarene, will be leading this training for those individuals who want to take their strengths to the next level - becoming an advocate for their church or community.Friday, April 27, 6:30-9p.m. Saturday, April 28, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Training fee: $99/person
The goal of Strengths 101 is two-fold. The first portion of the training focuses on building a participant's knowledge of his/her top five signature strengths (based on Gallup, Inc.'s StrengthsFinder Inventory). The second half of the training is geared toward identifying and providing tools for leading a strengths-based ministry initiative with a congregational setting.
